Throughout each year, the Canadian Horse Heritage and Preservation Society (CHHAPS) sponsors and/or hosts a series of events consisting of shows, and clinics/educational events featuring a variety of guest speakers. The mandate of our CHHAPS Events is that they be fun, educational, relaxed, non-threatening, and aimed at any/all levels of participants.

Each of our events is designed to promote the breed, to provide a environment of learning and enjoyment for our members and others, while focusing on our goals of breed preservation and education. At present, our CHHAPS events take place in a variety of locations around BC. Unfortunately, due to logistics, we have no events taking place outside of BC at this time. However if any of our members from other provinces or states would be interested in trying to start up shows elsewhere, we would be delighted to support them in their efforts in any way possible.

All of our CHHAPS hosted events are "officially" sanctioned and approved by the Canadian Horse Breeders Association (CHBA).

We welcome any and all levels of participants, volunteers, as well as spectators at our events. Hope to see you there!
