To foster and promote the preservation of the traditional Canadian Horse
	To expand the knowledge and skills of Canadian Horse owners and admirers  to ensure responsible stewardship and care of a heritage animal
	To provide for our members and the public, through events, educational sessions  and publications, a greater understanding of the Canadian Horse as a national symbol
	To encourage an exchange of information and act as a formal liaison with other  organizations within the horse industry
	To recognize the unique heritage and contribution of the Canadian Horse to the  history of Canada and the development of other breeds
