2007 Events
2007 CHHAPS AGM and Mane Event Breed Demo
2007 saw the close of another successful year for CHHAPS. This was our second AGM held in conjunction with the Mane Event equine trade fair held at the Chilliwack Heritage Park, and it seems to be a very successful combination. Almost 1/3 of the entire CHHAPS membership showed up for the AGM, and lots of great plans were made for the future by way of a planning session lead by Betty Baxter.
2007 also saw the inauguration of the J.N. Roberston CHHAPS memorial trophy for volunteerism. This year it was awarded to Ruth Donald for going above and beyond the call of duty in a variety of CHHAPS activities throughout the year.

2006 CHHAPS Pacific Canadian Horse Show
CHHAPS only show of 2006 took place at the Maple Ridge Equi-Center, July 29 & 30, 2006.
The show was ably judged by FEI level judge Pam Arthur of Langley BC.
There was great attendance, and as per usual, good times were had by all.
The show officially kicked off on the preceding Friday evening when we were graced by the presence of Sylvie Denault, President of the Canadian Horse Breeders Association. Ms. Denault did a very informative talk on the history and direction of the Canadian Horse breed and the CHBA.

2005
2005 CHHAPS Pacific Canadian Horse Show
June 25 & 26, 2005 marked the culmination of our first show of the
year, the CHHAPS Pacific Canadian Horse Show, held at the Maple Ridge Equestrian
Centre, in Maple Ridge BC. The show was very successful, with participants
from all over BC as well as Oregon.
Members of the Northwest Cavalry Association from OR came up to give us some very lively demonstrations of their Civil War re-enactments and horsemanship. All in all, a great time was had by all attending!
